Esoteric subjects have fascinated me ever since I was very young - one of my aunts was an astrologer, and she had books about Theosophy on her shelves. My aunt explained how astrology can help us see why we are here and what our path in life can be - if we choose. When I was nineteen I met a mystic who told me that my name meant 'Divine River' - he said that the name we are given tells us about the work we will do, At that time I had a small baby so I wasn't thinking about anything very mystical, but I was always reading books on spiritual and philosophical topics.

In 1974 I started to have visions and found that I could receive messages from angelic realms - but I didn't really understand what to do with the messages! But I kept meditating and reading and wrote down my experiences in my journal. It wasn't until 1995 that I started teaching people about angels and writing books. In 2000 I started research for my MA and discovered ancient Jewish mystical texts, full of stories about angels.

I have always asked the Archangels to speak to me directly, and this allows me to present a new and exciting way of working with them that is not based on out dated mediaeval hierarchies or sentimental Victorian notions.
