Scott is a naturally talented musician, singer and energetic drummer with over 15 years experience of playing both kit drums & world percussion, including African, Turkish, Egyptian & Native American drums, as well as playing guitar, Native American flute and a variety of percussion instruments. Together with his partner Susan Garlick he runs Dragonfly Moon which is a creative blend of music, healing and shamanic practice, combining musical performances and empowering workshops with the spirit of ethically traded drums, rattles & world percussion instruments. Through the universality of both music and shamanism Scott & Susan aim to bring people together in a positive & inspirational way.

Strongly influenced by our native British landscape, Scott writes & performs his own songs & earth-inspired chants, in addition to giving talks and facilitating British shamanic based drumming, dancing, chanting & singing workshops with his partner Susan. Shamanic cultures have existed since the earliest of times in all areas of the world, including our own native Britain. The use of ceremony and sacred space, journeying with the drum and the understanding that all things are connected and permeated by spirit are some of the core shamanic principles which they weave into their workshops.

Scott uses drums, rattles & voice for healing and energy work as they are wonderful tools for personal development & empowerment, helping us to move more rhythmically through our everyday lives by inspiring & moving us on many levels. Drumming is also a powerful tool for breaking down barriers and transcending inhibitions; for healing; self-expression; raising energy; and connecting with the heartbeat of the land. Scott is also trained in shamanic healing and his goals are to help people to open up to their true selves and the power of the land, and to find their rightful path through life.

Dragonfly Moon offer a variety of world drums and percussion instruments for sale at workshops & festivals, similar to those Scott & Susan use personally, and all are strictly fairly traded.
