Elaine is married and has three children; two very grown up and a daughter who is twelve. With a family steeped in Celtic lore and tradition, as well as her spiritual work spanning over 25 years, Elaine runs creative workshops for children and adults. She also writes and performs inspirational poetry and has also just decided, after a lifetime of longing, to learn to play the harp, proving one of her theories, "You're never to old to learn something new!"

For Elaine, love and forgiveness are the foundation stones upon which all healing takes place. One day, whilst sitting upon The Seat of Angels, on her beloved Holy Island of Iona, a silence descended. From within the deep and Holy Peace which surrounded her a voice said, "If you help others to heal the present, you help them to heal their past too." To this day, Elaine has honoured this teaching as she calls upon the love of the Holy Spirit of Sophia to help her in her healing and transformational work. "The Beatles got it right", she says, "'All you need is love.'" That is the simple, but profound, message at the core of her work.

"In a western world where the pace of life is so fast, we often find we have so little time to nurture the needs of ourselves and those close to us. It is important to step off the ever-turning roundabout and find ourselves once more - find our way back to peace." Elaine says. "We need to find a way to free ourselves up emotionally in order to express who we really are - we need to heal past wounds and let go of burdens in order to live to our full potential. What a wonderful goal!"

Elaine will also be giving private readings in the Plymouth Guild Hall during the weekend of 8th & 9th September 2007
