Living the Celtic Year
with Debbie Merritt
This workshop aims to briefly explain the meaning of the 8 seasonal celebrations of the Celtic year, and in more detail the celebrations of Beltane and it's counterpart Samhuin.
We will look at ways to integrate this knowledge into a modern lifestyle, regardless of your spiritual pathway or religious background, so that you can understand the self empowering nature of these celebrations. To do this there will be short meditations and activities!
We will also use a simple ceremony that you can adapt so that you can acknowledge each of the celebrations yourself in the future.
Debbie is a practicing member of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids. She has always felt a strong connection to the earth and it's wonderful seasons and animals, which after connecting to her spiritual pathway, eventually led her to Druidry. She has studied meditation and has produced her own booklet and CD titled 'Meditation for Beginners and Strugglers', with more 'under construction'. Together with her husband Steve, she facilitates workshops in Meditation, Psychic Development, Working with our Energies, and the full day workshop 'Living the Celtic Year'.
