SHAMANISM – an introductory workshop:
This workshop opens up the door to the world of Shamanism. You will learn about spirit contact, spirit teachers, guardian spirit animals and the power of intention and concentration. This work will include classical Shamanic techniques and the use of tools such as the Shamanic journey, ecstatic dance, song and the drum. You will be introduced to healing methods and learn about awakening consciousness.
We will complete by doing a ceremony where we send healing to the planet.
SHAMANISM IN NORTHERN EUROPE:
Shamanism is an ancient healing way and is the oldest spiritual path on Earth, dating back at least 40,000 years. It is as valid and as empowering today as it has ever been, helping to bring humans into balance with nature and themselves.
During this workshop we will focus on the shamanic tradition that has its origin in our part of the world. You will lean about an ancient divination work, and we will conclude with a peace ceremony.
CHRIS LÜTTICHAU unites traditional shamanism with time-honoured native methods of clearing the past. People who study with him go through a process of initiation and self-healing combined with consciousness training that aims at expanding perceptions of reality. They set out on a journey to gain shamanic knowledge and skills as well as heal the wounds from their past. In accordance with the traditional ways, he teaches that increased strength must be accompanied with humbleness and living from the heart, as well as overcoming the distorted energies of oneÕs personality.
On his workshops Chris makes classical shamanism accessible for people in the modern world. He shares in-depth and practical teachings based on respect for the earth and rooted in old shamanic cultures. Topics such as ancestors, dreaming and prayer often not included in western core shamanism are part of his teachings. Spirit contact is the foundation of his work. He has been on the path of shamanism for more than twenty years, and has travelled worldwide learning from healers, elders and shamans living close to the earth.
Chris works as a teacher and healer, and has a special interest in dreaming. He has been teaching since 1992. In 1998 he founded the international teaching organisation, NORTHERN DRUM SHAMANIC CENTRE, and has conducted workshops in Mexico, USA, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Ireland and the UK.
