Parking:
There is plenty of parking close by to the venue. Adjacent to the hall there is a 24 hour car park costing just £1.20. Or there is plenty of parking around the back of St Johns Hall in the large council owned car park. Or if you fancy a short walk you can park along the Penzance Promenade car park then take a 10 min stroll through Market Jew Street to the hall.
By Car:
The M5 will take you as far as Exeter, there you can join the A30 which will take you all the way to Penzance. Once you arrive in Penzance, drive straight into the main town and head for Market Jew Street. Stay on this road until you come to the clock tower and a large statue. The road then veers upwards and towards the right, and after about 50 yards or so, you will come to a set of traffic lights. Carry on driving (or walking) and you will shortly see St John's Hall which is a large buiding on the right hand side of the road with steps leading up to the main entrance (disabled and loading access can be gained by going to the rear of the hall). There are several car parks locoated in the area, behind the hall and across the road. You can plan your journey using an online route planner :

By Train:
There are frequent trains from London, Paddington and major stations along the way.
Penzance is at the end of the line, so if you fall asleep you won’t go past your stop! As you exit
the station the Tourist Information office is directly in front of you. There are always plenty of
taxis around, and the journey to St Johns Hall is about a 5 min drive, or around a 10 minute walk. Just head for 'Market Jew Street' and follow it until you come to a large clock tower with a statue of Sir Humphrey Davy in front of it. Then stay on the same road, follow it as it curves towards the right, carry on, then you will see St Johns Hall on your right. It is a very large venue and is hard to miss! If flying to Newquay, you can take the train from Newquay, then onwards to Penzance, changing once at Par station. this journey takes just under 2 hours. For train timetables

By Air
You can also fly to Cornwall by taking a flight from London to Newquay Airport. The journey
takes around one and a half hours. Then from Newquay you can take a coach or train onwards
to Penzance. Flights can be booked by calling: Air Southwest, British Airways or Ryan Air,

Ebookers online travel agent. If flying to Newquay, you can take a train (or coach) from Newquay, then onwards to Penzance, changing once at Par station. this journey takes just under 2 hours. For train timetables

If you would prefer to take a coach to Penzance from Newquay, the journey takes around 1 1/2 hours, and costs around £10 (based on a single person with an open ticket - 6 month return)
By Ferry:
For visitors coming from Europe there are ferry links from Roscoff, in France or Santander, in Spain, both to the nearby port of Plymouth. A train or coach can then be taken to Penzance.
