There will also be a special screening of Childe Rowland A Fairytale created by Fairy Harpist and filmaker, Elizabeth-Jane Baldry. This short film is set in Arthurian Devon, Childe Rowland is a thrilling English fairytale about a little girl stolen away by the fairies and the heroic efforts of her three brothers to rescue her. Alan Lee, Academy Award winner, conceptual designer, Lord of the Rings said of her work, "Elizabeth-Jane Baldry's films are imaginative and refreshing - a new storyteller from the green heart of Devon", and Ari Berk, professor of literature, Central Michigan University said, "a perfect example of how to adapt a folktale to the screen".

"Thanks again for a great weekend" - Wendy & Brian Froud www.worldoffroud.com

"It was so majical meeting you in Penzanze. What an amazing weekend! regards your performance at the Faery Ball, What an amazing performance! I was completely entranced! If you were fortunate enough to experience the magical performance by "The Daughters of Gaia" as I did at the 'Faery Ball' in Penzance, their powerful & earthy music will have entered your soul and imagination. The beat will have encouraged you to get to your feet - dance wildly - have fun, and the lyrics will remind you of all that is good and beautful in our precious world. Their music filled with ancient wonders and mystical vision will make you feel you have come home. I have their melodies in my heart & mind - even as I write". Josephine Wall www.josephinewall.co.uk
