These internationally-renown Dartmoor musicians will for the first time be performing music from their two albums newly released for 2005. Dartmoor Roundhouse by Nigel Shaw is a collection of flute music recorded on thirteen instruments, each made by him and carved from different indigenous and traditional English woods sourced from the moors. These flutes carry a beautiful haunting tone and sing melodies originally recorded around the ancient roundhouse fire at their Dartmoor farm. ICE: Cold Songs from the Northern Sisterhood of Drums by Carolyn Hillyer will feature new chants and songs inspired by her recent work in the Arctic and the primordial mysteries of the cold northern lands. Nigel and Carolyn will also perform from other earlier albums to create a concert infused with Beltane magic!

Inti Cesar Malasquez is the founder member of the band 'Son of the Sun'. He is a Channel, Healer, and Musician as well as a Teacher and Guide, who leads Spiritual Journeys to the sacred sites of the world. Inti refers to these sacred places as the Chakras of the Earth. He passes on his spiritual knowledge and wisdom in ceremonies, prayers and stories. Inti plays flute, guitar, drums and sitar. He adds his unique charisma and character to the band! Inti's daughter sharda, adds her beautiful voice to the magical sounds, and his son Manu enhances the sounds with his percussiona and wise words, Tabla player Ganesh, brings his up beat percussion to gel it all together.
