ABOUT WOODLAND: Woodland's music explores the landscapes of the otherworld, with mythic lyrics and ancient woven melodies. Emilio and Kelly Miller-Lopez are the founders and primary songwriters in Woodland. Kelly plays harp, celtic whistle and native flute and sings lead vocals. Emilio plays guitar and sings lead and harmony vocals, and writes a large amount of the music and poetry for the band. Woodland also features fiddler Kimmy Smith (Spirit Union), drummer Jarrod Kaplan (Trillian Green), and bassist and didjeridoo player Donald Brodsky.

For five years Woodland has co-produced the Faerieworlds Festival with Robert Gould of IMAGINOSIS. Live, the bands performances journey between soft sensual acoustic sounds and melody-driven rhythmic tribal rock. Woodland creates concerts and faerie Masquerades which coincide with ancient nature-based holidays such as solstices, equinoxes and full moons, with their multi-generational audience arriving at events adorned in masks, robes, horns, wings and crowns in celebration of the the Old Ways.

ABOUT THE DAUGHTERS OF GAIA: Barbara Mieklejohn-Free is the band founder (center). Like Gaia, the format is forever evolving, and various 'Daughters' come and share their voices. The current line-up features founder member, Barbara Meiklejohn-Free, Cara Bamford (right), and Karen Kay (left). The daughters of Gaia have been called many things! including a wild faery dance band!, many of their songs stem from ancient chants, re-worked in their own unique way. The music evokes a sense of inner power and vibrant earth energy, and these girls really know how to party! so come along and dance the night away with the faeries. See www.daughtersofgaia.com
