Angela says, "As I work around the UK I am often asked where I was taught trance. The simple truth is spirit taught me. For trance I worked intensively with Richard on a daily basis for about a year before we began working publicly. At the time many of his lessons seemed more like games, but I now realise that he was building trust between us. I was learning to let go completely and he was learning to be a very strong control. At the end of our training period Richard taught me how to attain complete detachment, to enter a state of such deep meditation that I was no longer aware of what was happening, leaving him free to be himself while he worked. People ask where I am at these times and what it feels like. I answer that I am in a secure and peaceful space in deep meditation. I feel as if I exist as pure energy and it feels beautiful."
